Batch organizing with Sets

Sets

You can organize your photos in sets, in PhotoExplorer when you are in list view or thumbnail view you can add multiple photos at a time into one or more sets.

Adding multiple photos to existing sets:

To add multiple photos to existing sets:

  1. Make sure you are viewing your photostream, set or collection in list view or thumbnail view.
  2. Tap on the Edit button that appears in the top toolbar. You are now in Edit mode, notice the 3 buttons that appear at the bottom of the screen that allows you to Delete or Modify the selected photos or Toggle your Selection.
  3. Tap on the photos you wish to add to a set. (If you need to invert your selection tap on Toggle Selection)
  4. Once you have selected all the photos to add to a set, tap on the Modify button that appears at the bottom of the screen, the Modify Photos pop-up appears.
  5. In the Modify Photos pop-up you can batch modify title, caption, sets, groups, permissions and rotation.
  6. To add your photos to sets, tap on the Main icon located at the bottom of the Modify Photos pop-up
  7. In the Sets area you can see a list of existing sets, you can drag up and down the list to scroll; you may see some of the sets have a green or grey check mark. A green check mark next to a set means all the photos selected are in this set. A grey check mark means that some of the photos selected are in that set already.
  8. Tap on the sets that you want to add the photos to, a green check mark will appear next to the sets selected.
  9. If you need to modify permissions or geolocation, etc for the current photos, tap on the appropriate tab and make the change. When you are done tap on Save. The Modify Photos pop-up disappears and you are back to list view or thumbnails view.
  10. If you want to add other photos to sets, repeat steps 3 to 8. When you are done organizing your photos in sets tap on Cancel to exit Edit mode.

Creating sets and adding multiple photos to them :

  4. Once you have selected all the photos to add to a set, tap on the Modify button that appears at the bottom of the screen, the Modify Photos pop-up appears.

  6. To add your photos to sets, tap on the Main tab located at the bottom of the Modify Photos pop-up
  7. If you want to add a set that does not exist, enter the name of the Set and tap on Add.
  8. The new set will appear under Sets to create and will have a green check mark, to indicate that all the photos selected will be added to this set. You can also add the selected photos into existing sets, just tap on the sets.
  9. If you need to modify permissions or geolocation, etc for the current photos, tap on the appropriate icon and make the change. When you are done with all your changed tap on Save. The Modify Photos pop-up disappears and you are back to list view or thumbnails view.
  10. If you want to add other photos to sets, repeat steps 3 to 10. When you are done organizing your photos in sets tap on Cancel to exit Edit mode.

Removing photos from sets:

To remove multiple photos from sets:

  1. Make sure you are viewing your photostream, set or collection in list view or thumbnail view.

  3. Tap on the photos you wish to delete from the set. (If you need to invert your selection tap on Toggle Selection)
  4. Once you have selected all the photos to remove from a set, tap on the Modify button that appears at the bottom of the screen, the Modify Photos pop-up appears.
  5. In the Modify Photos pop-up you can batch modify title, caption, sets, groups, permissions and rotation.
  6. To remove your photos from sets, tap on the Main tab located at the bottom of the Modify Photos pop-up
  7. In the Sets area you will see the list of all the sets, some of them have a green or grey check mark. A green check mark indicates all selected photos are in that set, a grey check mark indicates some of the photos selected are in that set.
  8. Tap on the sets that you wish to remove the photos from. The green or grey check mark will change to a red X to indicate that all the photos will be removed from that set.
  9. If you need to modify permissions or geolocation, etc for the current photos, tap on the appropriate tab and make the change. When you are done with all your changed tap on Save. The Modify Photos pop-up disappears and you are back to list view or thumbnails view.
  10. If you want to add other photos to sets, repeat steps 3 to 10. When you are done organizing your photos in sets tap on Cancel to exit Edit mode.
